I AM SO BORED. I can’t run, I can’t cycle, I can’t even blimmin’ walk very far. Niggly knee has gone and made way for niggly ankle. I suppose my body is just telling me it wants a break from running and fair enough, but I’ve had my week off now and I want to get back in the game. I spent the weekend with my feet up, reading and watching TV while my friends had fun at Bristol’s Harbour Festival. I know I shouldn’t be moaning but I’m used to a bit of exercise now and miss it!
I felt exhausted all weekend, sleepy and lethargic – and yet I hadn’t done anything to exert myself. Weird how that works! Matt reckons sport gets your blood going and wakes you up, which definitely feels true at the moment. Anyone know more about the science behind this?
