Since my last run - intervals on Monday - I've had a bit of a twinge on the inside of my left knee. I've been resting it, icing it, and stinking out my entire office with deep heat. I notice it most when going up and down stairs so when I woke up this morning I tried the stairs and the pain had gone! But as soon as I started running on it about an hour later, the niggle returned.
So I've had to call my long run off for today, and resign myself to resting even longer. I'm in pretty good shape so hopefully a bit of rest won't be the end of the world and it will get better quickly. Annoying thing is that I can't really do any other cardio because I need to rest the knee - not just from impact but generally. God knows how many times I've said this on here, but fingers crossed....!
